Sasha

With a mix of caution, curiosity, and bewilderment, Sasha is staring at a huge snowball in a place where no snowball had been the day before! She was very wary, approaching, backing away, circling at a distance, approaching again, then running off. Only when I went up and stood by it, did she also approach. Funny dog!

Great catch Christine. This photo reminds me so much of my old girl Scout. Anything that was new she would look at with this same kind of expression. Sasha is such a good looking dog. I wish we saw more shepherds that look like her around here. We really don't see any that have that beautiful reddish color. So glad you found each other! V

This shot is even better when added to the explanation.
Dogs are so funny. My sister's dog barked defensively
at a dropped glove in her driveway.

Our Tawney did not like snow, Chandler has not seen snow with us yet, but he does not like the ice on the ground. He seems to be trying to tiptoe through the frozen grass, and is slipping all over.
