Larose Forest. This larva had grabbed an aphid and was making a meal of it. It dragged the aphid back down the milkweed leaf to eat in peace. Nearby were many variegated ladybeetles (Hippodamia variegata), one of which can be seen in this photo, so I assume this larva is of that species, though I don't know for sure.
