Milkweed tussock moth caterpillars (Euchaetes egle), #8238

Along the trail on various of the milkweeds, we saw tiny early instar caterpillars of this species, medium sized, later instars, as here, and final instars (next photo), the more familiar wooly caterpillars. Here, there is a small wasp, perhaps a Braconid, but I am not sure what is going on, but it was probably preying on the caterpillars.
