Haiku # 22: Mid-autumn

This haiku by Ryokan, is translated by John Stevens and is from his fine little book called "One bowl, one robe: The Zen poetry of Ryokan", publ, in 1979.

Mid-autumn - the mountains are crimson,

Sake and ink are ready,

But still no visitors.
