Aphid

This little green winged aphid landed on my notebook while I was trying to write down some observations during a BioBlitz this year. As it refused to fly away, I took some photos of it! Eventually, it went about its business.

FANTASTIC experience and FANTASTIC macro image Christine. These little creatures must be attracted to you. or more likely, you are most observant. Many of us would have just brushed it off. Now I know what an Aphid really looks like.

Excellent! I love the looks of your notebook, too. Very earthy which is perfect for a bioblitz. I would love to participate in one sometime. Perhaps I will do some research to see if any are done around here.
