Butter-and-eggs (Linaria vulgaris)

This introduced European plant is also known as Toadflax. It is entwined with another European species, Viper's Bugloss. Both plants have long since naturalized along roadsides, in fields and meadows, etc.

Yes they are lovely blooms one sees on roadsides. I love the color combination here and the dark setting showing off their vivid colors and sharp details.
