Meadow plant bug nymph (Leptopterna dolabrata)

These plant bugs (7-12 mm) are a European species that were first noted in North America, according to Bug Guide, in 1832, in Massachusetts. They've been here long enough that we think of them as part of our native fauna. Often found on Timothy grass.
