These tiny little bundles are abundant on all types of vegetation. They are the case of one of the Psychidae moths.

i have seen these many times in ct. and assumed they were some kind of living thing....is the grass looking object the egg case or are the eggs inside the grass pieces

I learned something again Christine. I don't recall ever seeing these.
