A place to grow

Today I took a walk along the Rideau Canal in the Arboretum. I noticed this small collection of plants growing in the crevice of a rock right next to the canal, and thought about how remarkable it is that they can find a niche and grow. Moss has grown in the crevice, providing a place for seeds to grow. The will to survive and thrive!
