This freshly hatched egg was found in the middle of the Nortel woods. Eggs are yet another sign of the presence of wildlife, in this case, wild turkeys.
Nice find. It would be an awesome sight to find a turkey sitting on a nest. Judging by the date this photo was taken it looks like turkeys get an early start with nesting.
