Twig freshly chewed by porcupine

A porcupine was sitting high up in a tree and was holding this twig between his two front paws, chewing on the bark. When he saw me, he dropped the twig and clambered even higher up the Bur oak tree. If you find such twigs beneath a tree, look up, you'll probably also see the typical chewed bark on the tree trunk. Or maybe even the porcupine itself.
