FOund in Larose Forest. A large (18-25 mm) impressive member of the Hymenoptera Order. Harmless, however!

Wow! This is an amazing fly! The larvae are very interesting. Isn't it interesting the transformation they make from larva to adult. I will have to look to see if they are found down this way.
