The sign at the "rest area" just off the highway in Bodalla State Forest points to a
"scenic forest walk" to Lake Mummuga. This is the upper reaches of the lake, the
duck bit. Further along the track where the lake opens out you come to the pelican
bit. Where the lake empties over the beach into the sea at Dalmeny, it's mainly seagulls.
