by Jumber Jikiya, Georgia. The Sculpture Symposium was the work of Australian and overseas
sculptors in 1993. Each sculptor was given a large sandstone rock (transported from 240 kms away)
and the necessary tools and some weeks camping on site to do whatever they could with very hard
rock. (This was no ordinary sandstone; it needed tungsten carbide tools, obtained from miners in town.)
