We drove to Brisbane to see the opening of River Festival, Riverfire on Saturday night. Shoulder to shoulder we watched the annual display of the R.A.A.F F1-11 jet fighter do a dump & burn of fuel, as it flew along the river over the city...what a sight this speeding fireball created !!

I liked this motion shot of the passing parade & the cityscape across the river from Southbank Parklands which in 1988 was the sight on which World Expo was held.

Sounds like a lot of fun! We used to live in a "river city" a number of years ago, and we always enjoyed the River Festival held there. But we never had a speeding fireball to watch! Great job on the shot - nice detail and color.

This is so pretty. I really like it that it's not completely dar but you still get the lights. And I like the motion blur on the people in the foreground. After all, cities imply hustle and bustle.
