Yesterday I showed a high-key background of this bud...this shot is one straight from the camera the only post processing done is to resize & sharpen in Irfanview, (which a lot of my shots are) I love that free program.
Al asked how I created the high key, well I didn't. It's straight from the camera, no PS used. Taken on a very bright sunny day, I shaded the bud with the lens hood, then compensated the exposure ( to read the exif of this one click on this second image ) until it whitened right out. The darker your main subject the better this method works. I use spot mode too.
