Welcome Swallow

A beautiful little twosome sitting on the Shorncliffe Pier. Difficult to photograph due to reflections off the water in mid afternoon. The other photo is on my feathered gallery. Cropped but all is as they came out of the camera.

I think you had a difficult choice here, I like them both. We have two Purple Martin houses and I love to see them swoop and sail across the valley eating their "bug lunch"...and their song is delightful.

What a pretty little bird! I don't think I've seen them down south...perhaps they prefer a more even climate than we can offer them.

Lovely swallow. But I like the second one better. Nice colors they have and great you get the time to take a picture. I thought that swallows are always in the air.
