Black and White

Had all three in 2021 and I will happily front up for as many as it takes to keep myself and all around me safe.

Christmas and New Year have been pretty awful with my husband having a severe dose of Shingles and now our son's mother in law is in hospital having had a severe heart attack on New Years Eve...safe to say the year ended and began with an unwanted bang.!!!

I will post and comment when I can and as things get better.

Happy New Year to anyone I missed catching up with.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's and in law's medical problems and hope by now they are well again or at least doing better. I've had shingles - definitely no fun. Your vaccination certificates are much more elaborate than ours.

Your son's MIL was very lucky to find a hospital with room to treat her. Here, some heart attack patients are being turned away (with fatal results) because COVID patients (most unvaccinated) have overwhelmed the health system. Hope she is doing well with proper treatment. I also hope that your husband's Shingles outbreak is short lived. My husband had a moderate case of Shingles some time back; so the severe case that your husband is experiencing must really be horrible. Your family really is having hard times to start the New Year. Surely, 2022 will only get better.

Perhaps a reminder that even though it is Christmas, New Year or what have you, we still have to face such difficulties regardless.I very much hope those doctors and nurses can treat your relative well, and that your nearest can improve too. It must and will get better :-)
