Canary Bird Rose

The very first rose to bloom in my garden is Canary Bird.
Planted many years ago in memory of my eldest sister who died the year it was planted..
About 30 years ago, on one of my visits home to England, I bought Cis one from Wisley and it always gave her pleasure.
A tall shrub covered each Spring with bright yellow roses, one of my favorite plants.

other sizes: small medium original auto

What a delicious splash of spring colour - it's beautiful right down to the single dew drop on the opened blossom...

This is really lovely, Jess. The flower and leaves are beautifully lit and the black background is really effective.
