Keep your hat on!

Here it's snowmobiles. Actually most people that ride these, as well as jet skis and snowmobiles do operate them responsibly, and they can be a boon on the farm. It just takes a few bozos to make a bad name for everyone...

I have ridden these several times, but would not own one. I'm amazed at how popular they are though, and I agree with Beverly and Dave.

Gasoline is heading hard for USD 10 per gallon in UK. These will be soon be considered luxury family vehicles!! LOL

Not my favorites

Great shot..although I do agree with the others :(

Had a horrible incident with one of these....never again.

Looks like fun. Great colors here.

Noisy things!

These & jet ski's....grrrr. Usually in the hands of those with little thought for anyone or anything !!
Guest 20-May-2006 21:22
they look like they could be fun but it always pisses me off when i am walking in the woods on a WALKING trail and some dumbass decides to share the trail on one of these, ruining my quiet peacefull day with all that noise and fumes.
Rosi Blaurock20-May-2006 21:00
Great shot.
Buz Kiefer20-May-2006 19:53
Too much noise in the woods and they tear up everything. Still...
Breland20-May-2006 16:25
It does seem that most users of these machines are bent on seeing how much of some one else's land they can tear up.
Sheila20-May-2006 13:58
I agree with the others, but it would be fun to ride on one once. Good shot Karen.
Guest 20-May-2006 13:57
High gas prices might reduce the use of entertainment engines!
Guest 20-May-2006 13:08
Ditto to what others have said. Plus, they make a lot of noise, and there's enough noise around already! It's just one more toy that today's man has come up with so that he can divert his attention away from life toward mindless pleasure. Shut up, Howard.

Nice shot of the monster machines. We have a few around here and it seems they have to go into the forrest and tear it up and scare the wildlife. When used properly they could be nice to have but see very few who have them have brains to use them without high speed and doing damage.

I agree with Beverly.
They are like jet-skis.
There is a time and a place for them.
Unfortuneately, some operators pick the wrong time and wrong place.

4-wheelers are great if you have a good strong back and good reflexes. They are nice to have
on a farm for various chores, and can be great fun just to get out and ride. I just wish the riders
would tear up their own property with them, and not everyone elses.
