Odd Fruit by Quentin Bargate

Name says it all :-) Two contrast here: one with expectations of what you should find in a fruit bowl, and the other, colour.

Wista VX 4x5,Schneider 150mm,Fujichrome Velvia

Tomatoes are technically fruit, not vegetables.
Flick.

This may be just a nit-picky technicality, but, are cherry tomatoes really "fruit"?! The bowl these are sitting in, is just amazing. It truly complements the old-world style still life. Both it and the knobby fruit look "medeival". Very nice! --Kim

Thanks, Paul. the other thing I forgot to mention was that I completely changed the background and table cover colours in Photoshop. I can't reall exactly what they were, but I must have been in one of my avante garde moods :-) - Quentin
