Jen

is one of the most creative young people I know. The other night I went for a swim at their house, handed her the 20D with the kit lens on. Not a crime, except that it was 9pm and very dark. The kit lens is not known for its' speed, gently speaking. The 'skeeters were feasting on those outside, so she was forced into their pool house. She spent an hour playing and came up with some fab images I'll post shortly. She's on the fence about upgrading from a point and shoot. She needs to get off that fence, pronto.

I agree. And yes she does have talent. Tell her she'll feel drained if she keeps trying to get good pix with a point and shoot! ;-)
