It's all about the kids

These 2 (I don't know them) led off the Christmas recital/pagent at my nephew's school.
The young boy's determination made me LOL and the girls' search for her parents was touching.
Tonight I wish I had 'youngsters' again.

Very beautiful capture of their expressions. Children take Christmas so seriously and their expression shows such. I love this image.

One of your best, Miss Karen. Great picture, and it was also fun reading everyone's comments below. What expressions you got here!

Karen you have caught the perfect moment here. Each of them were concentrating on there thoughts and seemingly not aware of each other or anyone else. I'll bet there performance was terrific.

This is the sort of photo I love. So vibrant and expressive. You must've been thrilled with it.

So cute! I sometimes feel that nostalgia too. And of course, the holidays will do it!

The one I love best in the concert is the one on the end & out of step, bobbing up while the others are all bobbing down..LOL ! If only bricks on heads stopped the growing process.

They are adorable, Karen. You did a great job of catching personalities here!

Ohhh. so sweet.. !
As I watch young children like this doing the christmas concerts, my eyes are drawn to the little boy with his shirt half un-tucked yet not covering his open fly, the little girl giggling and getting death stares from her teacher ... the girl playing in the band who hasn't had anyone instruct her that "although you cannot see the audience in the dark, they can see you very well.. um.. legs together, hon" ... and finally the little boy whose finger has repeatedly entered his nose in search of... something I'd rather not think about.

I'm glad my kids are grown up. And somehow it's funnier when it's someone else's children..

:D
