Guest 10-Mar-2005 21:55
Amazing colour and on the rocks as well. I love the rocks as foreground interest and the river leading you back to the far trees. (Sorry I have to analyse to know what to look to try myself!)
Guest 10-Mar-2005 19:44

Extraordinary view.
Gary Winters26-Oct-2004 05:39
It's not fair asking us to pick one over the other. They are both incredible. Just amazing. I'm envious of the colors back east. Of course, they shall be followed, as we know, by the soft, white snow, which will pile deeper, and deeper, and deeper...but...until then, enjoy the fall!
Guest 26-Oct-2004 04:54
This is beautiful!
Pepe Zyman26-Oct-2004 03:39
It will take a complete page to describe what I do like of this picture.
This image has my vote!
Cindy26-Oct-2004 03:11
They are both lovely, but I like the second choice best, what beautiful colors and reflections you captured, I am partial to reflective shots anyways. ;-)
Cliff26-Oct-2004 03:09
Both lovely!
snootydog26-Oct-2004 02:56
Tough call ms leaf... They are both incredible. I would probably lean a little to this one simply because the composition is a little different from other foliage shots. In fact the composition is a bit different from anything I've seen really.
Lisa Schlender26-Oct-2004 02:40
Oh...this is gorgeous! I love the colors on the rock...I think that really make the photo...draws the eye in! You are so lucky!
Guest 26-Oct-2004 02:30
Wow your right,, what a tough choice. I think I like the second one better. The reflection off of the lake is really pretty. Such fine detail. The top of the trees looks like their on fire,, with color. Beautiful pictures Karen
Karen Leaf26-Oct-2004 01:38
The debris on the rocks, I think, is blown down leaves and needles from a mass of trees to the left of the rock. There is a small clearing surrounded by trees, with a dirt trail leading to a small power box thing that comes off the dam. Got a pic of the clearing but didn't expose it correctly. Will go back tomorrow (time permitting) and check it out. To be honest I didn't even see it until the pic was developed.

You posted the right one, although the color in both are awesome.

Larry Ahern26-Oct-2004 01:00
WOW ... Excellent!
Guest 26-Oct-2004 00:57
I think you made the right choice. Great shots all around, but this was my favorite.
Rich Adams26-Oct-2004 00:52
Wow... the colors on this are incredible! Great shot!!!
Guest 26-Oct-2004 00:51
Oh, that's extraordinary! I would love to spend a day hiking this country. The colors are wonderful - looks like there's even some purple in there!
Blair Hawco26-Oct-2004 00:48
This is gorgeous Karen.
Gary Hebert26-Oct-2004 00:47
STUNNING!!! A BIG vote Karen! They are both top quality and powerful colorful autumn landscapes. I do prefer this one because it is less traditional with a lovely bouquet of color surrounding the water. One of the best I have seen here in some time... Congratulations Karen!
Kenneth Zimmerman26-Oct-2004 00:46
Nice place to be, good shot!
Guest 26-Oct-2004 00:23

Robin Reid25-Oct-2004 23:59
It is a tie! Both are terrific.
Rick25-Oct-2004 23:57
You sure have some beautiful around country there. Tough call indeed.
Elaine (etfitz)25-Oct-2004 23:56
They both are beautiful, but I like this one best because of the contrast of the green against the beautiful fall leaves. I like how they are peeking out from the green on the right. Fabulous picture!
