Pond at Sunset

The sunsets at the Vineyard alone are worth the boatride. Days like this one make me want to live there, and not just visit the family. Taken a few days ago, this is taken from our cottage, looking across the pond.

Liza, my folks live in Chilmark, about 2 miles from the center of W. Tisbury. WT has grown in the past 4-5 years with business taking over a fair amount of old farm land in the northern part of the town. At least the center of WT is still relatively quiet (except during the summer)and Alley's still has the best morning coffee around. Let me know if you go down again.

Karen this is beautiful. It has been a number of years since I've been to the vineyard. I used to stay with a friend in west tisbury. Where about are you? This photo is just the very essence of peacefulness, isn't it?
