The original Angenieux retrofocus design has ++-+ power in the rear block,
1958 a Nikon lens designer found +-++ arrangement which greatly reduced
the comaflare, but Minolta‘s 28/3.5 (1969 the above centre) was the first
production lens which employed +-++ power design. (from the same book)
The exchange of patents among camera makers at that era was a pretty common
thing, for example Minolta patented "floating system" at 1958, whereas the first
production lens with a floating system was Nikkor 24mm F2.8 1967. Interesting?
Minolta's first lens with floating system was MC ROKKOR-NL 21mm F2.8 at 1971.
