The Buffalo Homeopathic Hospital was founded in 1872, with this building opening in 1911. It continued as the Buffalo Homeopathic Hospital until 1923, when it became Millard Fillmore Hospital. Although added to and expanded, some of this original building continues to stand at the Gates Circle complex.
