This was the home of the Buffalo Evening News from 1898 through 1958, when the printing operations were moved to the new building on Scott Street; and the offices moved in 1973 when the new building on Washington Street opened. This building stood at 216-218 Main Street, approximately where the HSBC tower now stands.
