I lived in Buffalo, attended Buffalo State, during his 3rd term in office. He had a 2nd home on Grand Island, next door to a family I babysat for quite a bit in those days, usually for overnights or whole weekends. The mayor's body guards were very helpful and courteous if I needed them, especially if the two boys I was babysitting for were giving me trouble, and they checked on us periodically. I had car trouble one time, and they paid for a mechanic to come start the car for me. I never met the mayor, but did meet his wife and other family members. Love this collection of photos of the Buffalo I called home for 10 years, and loved every minute. So many good memories, so many great people!
