Dodge R/T

The R/T ostensibly stood for "Road and Track." On the Chargers and Coronets, it came with a standard 440, with the Hemi optional. Dodge did expand the R/T logo to other models, but it was the Chargers and Coronets that made the name for it. The first R/T's came out in 1967, and ran into the 70's , and has been resurrected on several models through the years.
