At least that's what we used to call them. There used to be "girlie shows" at one time, old time burlesque with comedians, and of course, tantalizing female dancers. Sometime through the years, and I don't remember when. the 'girlie shows" disappeared. The old adage, "you don't miss something until it's gone" was never truer.
