The Chevy Corvair was built from 1960 through 1969; the first generation spawned the Monza Spyder for three years, from 1962 through 1964. The Monza was a trim package, and the Syder was the performance package. The base engine was hopped up by turbocharging among other enhancements, and the entire package was well executed, with it being a fun car to drive. Not a drag racer by any means, but a great road car.
