Mr. Harlock: Get your facts straight. The house was in the Ahern, (Shea), family until the fall of 1998. I then bought the house from the two brothers that owned it and put $60,000 in renovations into it until I decided to bail from Buffalo to California and gave it back to the bank in 2006. It sat abandoned for about 6-8 months or so in 2005. You have done an absolutely incredible job of restoring the exterior, as I have been sent numerous photos throughout the past four years and should be commended.

Sincerely,

This house was not built by Michael Shea. It was buit by the Schmidt Bros masonry contractors in 1898. It was sold to Thomas and Catherine Shea, (Michael's brother and business partner)in 1909. It stayed in the family until around 1995 when it was lost to forclosure by the Grandson. I own it now and have been rehabbing it for about a year and a half. It is a fabulous home and will be on the marketby spring 2010.

This house was built by Michael Shea (Shea's theaters) for his daughter.
