My dad was a Captain at number 7 for many years. I remember it well. My car was parked there during the Blizzard of '77. I came home from college to find it had been run over by some heavy equipment they used to clear the snow. The roof was crushed and the tires were flattened. Total loss.

Precinct 7 on on Louisana Street was just recently closed in the past few years as a police station. When the consolidation of precincts to districts took place, the former precincts of South Buffalo were the first to go. This house then housed the Traffic Bureau, Flex Unit, K-9 Corps, Accident Investigation Unit, and the Motorcycle Squad.
On the left hand side of the building is the "newer" K-9 training area. That used to be down next to the Ward Pumping Station in LaSalle Park.
Currently this house is vacant. All of the units based here were moved to the former Precinct 11 house on Bailey Avenue near Broadway.
