This is the sign that remains at the now closed Clinton St. location. At one time, this Bocce Club was arguably the best pizza in Buffalo.

I'm in ATL too and cannot find pizza that can compare with Bocce (or any place in Buffalo).
Is Bocee still as good as it used to be?
I remember walking to Bocce's on warm summer nights with my friends as late as 10PM. That was in the 1960's when it was relatively safe for kids to walk the streets at night.

Indeed there was only one BEST pizza place in Buffalo. In 1958 a 24" loaded pizza went for $2.50. Santorro's and Martucci's were close second and third place finishers for best Pizza but none could really hold a candle to the Bocce Club quality.

When I saw the Bocce Club Sign I could only remember the best pizza anywhere. Lived in Rochester for 43 yrs and never found a pizza that could compete. Now in Atlanta and am hunting around for one that could compare.
