Iam from Illinois but have lived in Georgia 1985. I was baptised and confirmed in the E and R church in Papineau,Ill. It looks very similar to your church. I have gone to Methodist churches here but would love to find one of ours to go to!Can you help me? I visited my church while in Illinois last month. Seeing the people and the SMELLS in the church were wonderful!!It is a very small town.The Pastor was kind enough to open these OLD books and show me my parents names etc. He gave me an old hymnal and inside, it had been donated by my God parents!!!! Copywrited 1941. The Pastors name was Craig A. Forwalter. I still love my little church. I only hope that one day I can help them in some way.
