This engine was the smallest of the Ford big V8's offered in 1965. It came from the 352-390-406-427 family; and no one mistook it for a high performance engine. It never received the development it's bigger brothers did, like multi-carbs; I guess it was just easier to order the bigger engines. It came with a single four-barrel carb, and put out 250 horsepower.
