There are bigger churches in Buffalo, there are older churches in Buffalo, but no church comes with a greater history than this little red brick church on Michigan, between William and Broadway. Not a replica, not a recreation, but the real thing. This was one of the last stops on the Underground Railroad. If you made it this far, you were only one sunset from freedom. In the final analysis, that's what a church is all about, freedom; freedom for the body and mind, and the ultimate freedom of the soul.
