Sorry, this image is a little fuzzy. But so was Ford's engine lineup, 427's, 428's and 429's. I was never too familiar with the 428's and 429's; but the 427 was one to be reckoned with. No engine was louder. Very few faster. Dual quads sitting under that oval air cleaner, it really looked good.
