The Z28 in its' original incarnation was an out and out race car. 302 cubes (either a 283 crank in a 327 block or a 327 crank in a 283 block, I can't remember which), solid lifters, aluminum high rise intake manifold, and optional dual quads on a cross ram manifold. All you had to do was check the boxes on the order form.
