Bucky Fuller carried out
“field experiments” on a dome which he named “geodesic” in 1948.
His domes which were extremely strong, and enclosed large areas,
could be constructed quickly. Unlike the Dymaxion car the geodesic
dome was widely accepted and built in numerous locations across USA.
