My mother, Alice was "music". It is what she lived and breathed.
She was a musician or music teacher, for the better part of her 84 years.

Many of the students she taught before she married knew her as "Miss Hardin", her maiden name.

One of my mother's "claims to fame" was that she was the person that actually asked the world famous
tuba player, Harvey Phillips to start playing the tuba when she was his band instructor.
