The Quinn Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and its parsonage, located in Lincoln, have been listed on the National Register of Historic
Places since 1986 as contributing properties within the South Bottoms Historic District. This individual listing establishes the further
significance of the church and parsonage for their association with African American ethnic history in the city, as the continuing home of the
first African American church established in Lincoln, and for the church's broad-based contribution to its community.
