FISHING HUTS ON LAKE SIMCOE

Lake Simcoe, Ontario, CANADA

There were hundreds of fishing huts on the
frozen surface of Lake Simcoe. One fella
told me that they drive out for a good half
an hour to get to the good fishing.

They tell me that the average thickness of the
ice is 12 inches.

Some also stay overnight.

Awe Cindi ... it was only minus 14 Celsius ... about 7 degrees F. I thought you Texas girls were a hardy breed. :) LOL
