I am an Iranian and these great historical landmarks are not the only reason for me to be proud of because many countries like Rome and Greece also have something similar to these buildings, but I am proud of the Persia and the Persian history because they never practiced slavery and respected other nations, religions & cultures....

We in the US need to see and understand more about the History and customs and cultures of other countries. Seeing these I know I am totally ignorant of the history of the Middle East.
