stuffing the turkey

in my Florida kitchen

...I use a nylon bag to cook the turkey; a 20
pound stuffed turkey will cook in less than four
hours and it will be moist and DONE...my ma did
this with a paper bag for years and when the nylon
bags were introduced she switched...makes a lovely
turkey with NO greasy pan to clean!!

That really is a big bird -- or maybe it's just a small roasting pan?!? Anyway, it looks like you had everything under control. I was too busy to take pictures!

One time my housemate and I prepared a Thanksgiving dinner for ourselves--24lb turkey. We wanted lots of leftovers. :) That bird looks even bigger. Boy it was heavy trying to wash it in the sink. Oh and I made Thanksgiving dinner for my parents in DC once, too. I forgot to put the eggs in the stuffing, but it tasted just fine, moist especially with the spicy sausage I added to it.

that bird is HUGE!!! and stuffed too? WOW! We had a smoked one . . very good, but I missed digging out the stuffing
