self portrait. at dusk

Peninsula Point in Hiawatha National Forest in MI

...my glasses are on my left ear when I
photograph because I need to read the controls
on the camera; I'm not scowling here....just
squinting to see the iris of the lens...

other sizes: small medium original auto

Hmm. I think you stole my denim shirt! Except that I'm wearing it right now so... nevermind. ;^) I like how you set this up. This looks like natural light -- I'm impressed; I can't hold a camera steady anymore to save my life (anyone interested in a class action against Starbucks?!?). Cool windblown portrait.

Jypsee, you character comes flooding through on this one. I hope you print, frame and hang on the wall. Bill.

Great background and self portrait.

I have to do the same thing with my glasses. I'm nearsighted and farsighted too. The glasses correct the myopia but then I can't see the camera settings with them on because of the farsightedness.

However, as someone commented, it looks very natural like they were blown that way by the wind.

Hello Mary. You look cold.

This is great Jyp... I love how your hair is going one way and your glasses going the other way and yet somehow you look totally in control.

Yes the glasses make it look like the wind is very strong there, made me laugh too.

Beautiful color on this ... I like the glasses like that. I'm sure you put them down like that on purpose for the pose but it looks like you just came from a windstorm and are all killiwopjawed. Made me giggle..

I agree with Herb... Man I would have a grin on me the United States Army couldn't slap off... :-)

With all your new toys you should be smiling ear to ear.
