This jay flew into the trees around the dining room one afternoon. It caught a Rothschildia moth and plucked the wings off of it one at a time, letting them spin and tumble to the forest floor in front of our eyes. I grabbed the camera and ran outside, but by the time I got to it, the moth had been reduced to this, the body and antennae only, which it gulped down after I snapped this one image.
