This beautiful and sneaky Chinese thrush has an amazing array of vocalizations in its bag of tricks. This bird never came out into the open entirely, preferring to remain low in the dense underbrush. But it serenaded our party with a long series of beautiful songs and calls. Thanks to that incredible serenade, this was my favorite bird of the trip.
