It can be difficult to isolate just one or two birds in a huge flock of snow geese. But this one farm field where the birds were feeding in the afternoon was very accomodating, giving us many chances at single, double, or group shots at different distances for over an hour. We also discovered a "new" microbrewery/coffee house in Socorro that served up some pretty amazing meals during our stay. So it wasn't just the birds that were eating well on that trip.
